Virgin Mobile USA is doing the ultimate in unpredictable twists. They are becoming an iPhone-only carrier and they are doing so with the blessing of Apple as they have co-promotions of their new service with the Apple B&M stores. Perhaps a backroom deal between Tim Cook and Richard Branson? 🙂
All the Android phones are gone from the publicly accessible part of their website, HOWEVER, you can still buy Android phones from them IF you are an existing customer. When you login to your VM account, look at the “I Want to” section on the right hand side. One of the options is “Upgrade to new Android”.
Once you click on that, you are taken to a double secret page that shows some of the familiar Android phones that had been previously available through the public Virgin Mobile website. There are twelve Android models available, along with two flip phones.
