This is the reason why I typically avoid installing new updates immediately, but I felt like boldly going this time and I paid the price 🙂 ChromeOS Version 64 came to my lovely Samsung Chromebook PLUS last night, and I installed it immediately.
How to Quickly Switch between Windows of the Same Kind on ChromeOS
Chromebooks have the MS-Windows carry-over windows-switching ALT TAB feature, but what if you want to quickly switch between windows of the same app? If you have an intermediate or advanced Chromebook with 4GB or more of RAM, you can open up all sorts of windows at the same time. And if you have many windows, it can be hard to find that Chrome browser window or that file manager window.
So here’s a quick shortcut I discovered accidentally while fumbling on the keyboard: there is an easy and quick way to switch between windows of the same app, faster than ALT-TAB if you don’t care for what’s happening in the other active ChromeOS apps!
Unboxing the Samsung Chromebook Plus
Both my current Chromebook and Android tablet were prehistoric at best, so when I saw that the Samsung Chromebook Plus went down to $350 during the Black Friday festivities at amazon.com, it was a no-brainer, a two-for-one purchase without breaking the bank!
I am planning to have a LOT of posts about it here, starting with a text and pictures unboxing 🙂 I promise, no annoying audio or video in this post! Not only that, but you will find some useful tidbits here! Money-back guarantee 🙂
